Warranty & Service

Warranty

Coverage Period & Extension

These terms are issued by The Aviary TKP, Inc., doing business as Harrick (“Harrick”). Harrick warrants that each Harrick watch is free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of original retail purchase (the “Warranty Period”), provided the watch was purchased from Harrick or an authorized Harrick retailer. The Warranty Period may be extended to five (5) years if the original purchaser completes the warranty extension process during the initial two-year period, in accordance with Harrick’s extension requirements. The Harrick Limited Warranty may be extended from two (2) years to five (5) years by the original retail purchaser only. The extension must be completed during the initial two-year warranty period. Warranty coverage cannot be extended after the original two-year period has expired.

How to Request an Extension

To extend the warranty, the original purchaser must contact Harrick at team@harrick.co prior to the expiration of the two-year warranty period. If the watch was not purchased directly from Harrick, the original purchased must provide valid proof of original retail purchase, the watch serial number and any additional information reasonably requested by Harrick. Harrick may require the watch to be inspected or serviced prior to approving the warranty extension. Any required inspection or service may be subject to a fee.

Transferability

This warranty is fully transferable during the applicable Warranty Period, provided that valid proof of the original retail purchase is presented. The warranty duration is not reset or extended upon transfer.

What This Warranty Covers

During the Warranty Period, Harrick will, at its sole discretion:
 • Repair the watch at no charge, or
 • Replace defective components with functionally equivalent parts, or
 • Replace the watch with the same or a comparable model if repair is not feasible.

This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship affecting the movement, hands, dial, or case when the watch is used under normal conditions.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover:
 • Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, patina, or cosmetic changes to finishes, coatings, or lume
 • Straps, bracelets, buckles, or other wearable accessories
 • Damage resulting from misuse, accidents, impacts, drops, or improper handling
 • Water damage caused by improper operation or failure to secure crowns, pushers, or casebacks
 • Unauthorized service, modification, disassembly, or repair by any party other than Harrick or an authorized service partner
 • Environmental damage, including corrosion from chemicals, solvents, extreme temperatures, or magnetic exposure beyond normal consumer conditions
 • Loss or theft

Any watch showing evidence of abuse, improper use, or unauthorized service may be excluded from coverage.

Water Resistance

Water resistance ratings are valid only if the watch remains in its original, unmodified condition and is used in accordance with its intended purpose. Water resistance is not permanent and may diminish over time. Water-related damage is not covered where misuse, impact, or unauthorized service is evident.

Service & Maintenance

Routine Service

Mechanical watches require periodic servicing to maintain accuracy, reliability, and water resistance. Harrick recommends routine service at intervals determined by use and operating conditions, typically every 4–6 years for mechanical movements. Routine service is not included under the warranty unless the service is required to remedy a covered defect.

Warranty Service

If your watch experiences an issue covered under the Harrick Limited Warranty, Harrick will repair or replace the watch in accordance with the warranty terms. All warranty service must be performed by Harrick or an authorized Harrick service partner. Unauthorized service or modification may void remaining warranty coverage.

Non-Warranty Service

Service or repairs not covered by warranty—including routine maintenance, cosmetic refinishing, water-resistance restoration, or damage resulting from wear, impact, or misuse—are available for a fee. Prior to commencing non-warranty service, Harrick will provide an estimate for approval. No chargeable work will be performed without customer authorization.

Service Process

To initiate service, contact team@harrick.co with:
 • Proof of purchase (for warranty service)
 • A description of the issue or requested service
 • Photographs or additional information if requested

If service is approved, Harrick will provide shipping instructions. The customer is responsible for shipping the watch to Harrick. Harrick will cover return shipping for approved warranty service; return shipping for non-warranty service may be charged. Watches sent without prior authorization may be refused or returned.

Turnaround Time

Service timelines vary depending on the nature of the issue, parts availability, and service scope. While Harrick aims to complete service efficiently, no guaranteed turnaround times are provided. Certain services may require coordination with specialized suppliers or movement manufacturers, which may extend service duration.

Replacement Parts

Harrick uses original or functionally equivalent components to maintain performance and integrity. Replacement parts used during service may not be cosmetically identical to original components if parts have been revised or discontinued. Replaced components become the property of Harrick unless otherwise agreed.

Water Resistance After Service

Water resistance is tested following applicable service procedures; however, water resistance cannot be guaranteed indefinitely. Harrick recommends periodic testing and resealing, particularly if the watch is exposed to water regularly.

Service Availability

Harrick reserves the right to determine service availability based on parts supply, model age, and technical feasibility. While Harrick intends to support its watches for as long as reasonably possible, service availability for discontinued models cannot be guaranteed indefinitely.

Liability Limitation

Harrick is not responsible for loss or damage occurring during transit to or from the service facility. Customers are encouraged to insure shipments for full replacement value.
